spicy keto turkey burgers

These turkey burgers evolved over time to become a weekly dinner staple. I love the spicy kick of the red pepper flakes. It’s a perfect recipe for a busy weeknight because it comes together in about 5 minutes. While the burgers cook in the toaster, we heat up some riced broccoli for a side. It all comes together in 25 minutes.

These spicy turkey burgers are delicious and moist. Red peppers flakes give them a kick. Paired with pepper jack cheese, it's a great flavorful mid-week dinner option.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon of red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon of dried rosemary

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Coat pan with oil spray and/or aluminum foil
  2. Mix all ingredients together
  3. Form 3 equal burgers. I use a scale to help with this
  4. Cook until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees. In my oven this takes about 20 minutes
  5. Serve with melted cheese and sides, enjoy!

Notes

You can add less of any of the spices if it's too much for you. I do not recommend adding more pepper flakes as that will make them extremely hot. The garlic powder acts as a binding agent for the very moist ground turkey. This is similar to using bread crumbs, but carb free!. So I don't recommend less garlic powder.
